Deadlines and Time Left

Your Next Steps After the Admit Card
You usually get the admit card a few days before the exam, once the applications have been checked. It tells you where to go, at what time and in which shift, so open it the day the link goes live and read every line.
For CRP PO MT XVI Mains the stages are Pre Examination, Mains Examination, Interview and Final Selection. Keep preparing for the later rounds while the earlier one is still running.
Preparation Plan From the Dates
- With under three weeks left, stop starting new topics. Revise notes, solve previous papers and practise the exam-day routine.
- Selection runs through: Pre Examination → Mains Examination → Interview → Final Selection. Prepare for the later stage while the first is still pending, because gaps between stages are usually short.
- Track negative marking rules in the notice and practise attempting only questions you are reasonably sure of.
- Read the exam pattern once fully so you know the sections, marks and duration before you begin.

Details to Check on Your Admit Card
- Your name, roll number, date of birth and category
- Photograph and signature – they should be clear and belong to you
- Exam name, date, shift and reporting time
- Exam centre name and full address
- Instructions and the list of items not allowed inside
- Any space for signature or thumb impression to be filled at the centre
If any detail is wrong or missing, contact the helpline on the admit card at once and keep a screenshot as proof. Do not wait for exam day.
Exam Day Rules and Reporting
Plan your journey a day early. Bus and train delays are not accepted as a reason for late entry.
Take your printed admit card, an original photo ID and only the items the instructions permit. Phones, watches and bags are usually not allowed inside, and centres seldom keep them safe.
Exam City Slip and Admit Card: The Difference
The city slip is only an advance notice of the city where you will write the exam, so you can plan travel and stay. Entry to the hall needs the admit card, which shows the centre address, shift and timings.
If You Cannot Download or Lose the Admit Card
First make sure the registration number and date of birth are exactly as you entered them in the form. If you still cannot log in, use the helpline number or email in the official notice. Print more than one copy after downloading.
How IBPS selects candidates
Officer and clerk Sarkari Naukri usually has a first exam, a main exam and then either an interview or a language proficiency test, followed by document verification and provisional allotment to a bank. Each section has its own timing and sectional cut-off, so working on speed and accuracy together matters more than any single subject.
