Where This Fits in the Selection Process
An admit card (or an exam-city slip) is issued after applications are checked and before the exam. It fixes your centre, shift and reporting time; the exam itself, the answer key and the result follow.
For Uttarakhand, the notice lists these stages: CBT Exam – I → CBT Exam – II. Dates for the later stages are announced separately on the official site.
Post-wise Eligibility at a Glance
Post-wise qualification level, subject requirement and minimum marks, where the notice states them:
| Post | Minimum level | Subject needed | Marks needed |
|---|---|---|---|
| Class 1st to 5th (Primary Class) | Graduate | — | 50% |
| Class 6th to 8th (Elementary Class) | Graduate | — | — |
Preparation Plan From the Dates
- Selection runs through: CBT Exam – I → CBT Exam – II. Prepare for the later stage while the first is still pending, because gaps between stages are usually short.
- Keep a running list of questions you got wrong and re-attempt it every weekend.
- Sleep and revision beat last-week cramming; plan lighter days before the exam.

If the link does not open, try a different browser or device, clear the cache and avoid the peak hours. The organisation often extends the download window.
Details to Check on Your Admit Card
- Your name, roll number, date of birth and category
- Photograph and signature – they should be clear and belong to you
- Exam name, date, shift and reporting time
- Exam centre name and full address
- Instructions and the list of items not allowed inside
- Any space for signature or thumb impression to be filled at the centre
If any detail is wrong or missing, contact the helpline on the admit card at once and keep a screenshot as proof. Do not wait for exam day.
Exam Day Rules and Reporting
Reach early, find your room and keep a buffer for security checks.
Keep the bag light. The admit card, a valid photo ID and the permitted stationery are all you usually need; electronic items are often banned.
Exam City Slip and Admit Card: The Difference
The city slip is only an advance notice of the city where you will write the exam, so you can plan travel and stay. Entry to the hall needs the admit card, which shows the centre address, shift and timings.
If You Cannot Download or Lose the Admit Card
First make sure the registration number and date of birth are exactly as you entered them in the form. If you still cannot log in, use the helpline number or email in the official notice. Print more than one copy after downloading.
Exam Day Checklist
- Check that name, roll number, photo and signature on the card match your application.
- Carry an original photo ID along with the printout; a phone copy is usually not accepted.
- Read the list of prohibited items; watches and electronics are often banned.
- If your photo is unclear, follow the notice's instructions to get a corrected card before exam day.
- Sign only where the card asks you to, and only in the invigilator's presence if instructed.
