After You Download the Admit Card
Sometimes an exam city slip comes first and the admit card follows a few days later. Download both early, because the website slows down on the last day, and keep two printouts ready.
PO Mains: Main Exam and Interview. Dates for the later rounds are usually announced separately on the official site.
Post-wise Eligibility at a Glance
Post-wise qualification level, subject requirement and minimum marks, where the notice states them:
| Post | Minimum level | Subject needed | Marks needed |

| SBI Probationary Officer PO | Graduate | — | — |
Preparation Plan From the Dates
- Selection runs through: Main Exam → Interview. Prepare for the later stage while the first is still pending, because gaps between stages are usually short.
- Keep a running list of questions you got wrong and re-attempt it every weekend.
- Sleep and revision beat last-week cramming; plan lighter days before the exam.

SBI Admit Card Download: Login Details and Common Problems
Go to sbi.co.in, choose the admit card link and enter the details asked. Download the file at the earliest so that you have time to correct any problem. The exam is scheduled for 12 Sep 2026.
If the link does not open, try a different browser or device, clear the cache and avoid the peak hours. The organisation often extends the download window.
Details to Check on Your Admit Card
- Your name, roll number, date of birth and category
- Photograph and signature – they should be clear and belong to you
- Exam name, date, shift and reporting time
- Exam centre name and full address
- Instructions and the list of items not allowed inside
- Any space for signature or thumb impression to be filled at the centre
If any detail is wrong or missing, contact the helpline on the admit card at once and keep a screenshot as proof. Do not wait for exam day.
Exam Day Rules and Reporting
Reach early, find your room and keep a buffer for security checks.
Keep the bag light. The admit card, a valid photo ID and the permitted stationery are all you usually need; electronic items are often banned.
Exam City Slip and Admit Card: The Difference
The city slip is only an advance notice of the city where you will write the exam, so you can plan travel and stay. Entry to the hall needs the admit card, which shows the centre address, shift and timings.
If You Cannot Download or Lose the Admit Card
Login problems are usually a wrong date format or a forgotten password. Use the recovery option on the portal or contact the helpline, and keep extra printouts as one may be taken at the exam hall.
Who can apply to SBI
A graduation degree from a recognised university is the minimum for officer and clerk posts; final-year students can apply if they produce proof of passing by the date in the notice. Age limits differ for each post and are relaxed for reserved categories. SO posts ask for a job-specific degree or work experience.
