Deadlines and Time Left

• The exam is 49 day(s) away (about 7 week(s)).

After You Download the Admit Card

You usually get the admit card a few days before the exam, once the applications have been checked. It tells you where to go, at what time and in which shift, so open it the day the link goes live and read every line.

Civil Services IFS Mains: Main Exam and Interview. Dates for the later rounds are usually announced separately on the official site.

How the Vacancies Are Split

Indian Administrative Service (IAS) is the largest Sarkari Naukri with 933 of the 1,013 posts (92% of the total). The smallest lot is Indian Forest Service (IFS) with 80 post(s), so competition per seat differs sharply between posts. There are 2 separate post lines; check each one against your qualification instead of applying for the headline number.

Preparation Plan From the Dates

• With about 7 weeks left, prioritise high-weight topics, revise one subject per day and take a timed mock every third day.
• Selection runs through: Main Exam → Interview. Prepare for the later stage while the first is still pending, because gaps between stages are usually short.
• Solve at least three previous papers of this exam under a timer to learn the real difficulty.
• Sleep and revision beat last-week cramming; plan lighter days before the exam.

• Exam centre name and full address
• Instructions and the list of items not allowed inside
• Any space for signature or thumb impression to be filled at the centre

If any detail is wrong or missing, contact the helpline on the admit card at once and keep a screenshot as proof. Do not wait for exam day.

Exam Day Rules and Reporting

Reach the centre well before the reporting time. Gates are usually closed before the exam begins and late candidates are not allowed in.

Take your printed admit card, an original photo ID and only the items the instructions permit. Phones, watches and bags are usually not allowed inside, and centres seldom keep them safe.

Exam City Slip and Admit Card: The Difference

Do not confuse the two documents. The exam city slip helps you book tickets, while the admit card is the one that lets you sit for the paper.

If You Cannot Download or Lose the Admit Card

Login problems are usually a wrong date format or a forgotten password. Use the recovery option on the portal or contact the helpline, and keep extra printouts as one may be taken at the exam hall.
