AIIMS Junior Resident Admit Card 2026: Important Dates & Exam Details

AIIMS Junior Resident Vacancy 2026: Department--wise Details

What Happens After the Admit Card

Think of the admit card as your entry ticket. It carries your exam centre, shift and reporting time, and the exam, the answer key and the Sarkari Result come after it in that order.

How the Vacancies Are Split

Emergency Medicine is the largest Sarkari Naukri with 23 of the 62 posts (37% of the total). The smallest lot is Cardiology with 1 post(s), so competition per seat differs sharply between posts. There are 14 separate post lines; check each one against your qualification instead of applying for the headline number.

Details to Check on Your Admit Card

• Your name, roll number, date of birth and category
• Photograph and signature – they should be clear and belong to you
• Exam name, date, shift and reporting time
• Exam centre name and full address
• Instructions and the list of items not allowed inside
• Any space for signature or thumb impression to be filled at the centre

If any detail is wrong or missing, contact the helpline on the admit card at once and keep a screenshot as proof. Do not wait for exam day.

Exam Day Rules and Reporting

Reach the centre well before the reporting time. Gates are usually closed before the exam begins and late candidates are not allowed in.

Take your printed admit card, an original photo ID and only the items the instructions permit. Phones, watches and bags are usually not allowed inside, and centres seldom keep them safe.

Exam City Slip and Admit Card: The Difference

Many exams release an exam city intimation slip first. It tells you the city so that you can book travel, but it is not the entry pass. The admit card comes later and has the exact centre, date, shift and reporting time.

If You Cannot Download or Lose the Admit Card

Check that you are using the correct registration number and date of birth, exactly as in your form. If the problem continues, write to the helpline email or call the number on the official notice. Take a few printouts once it is downloaded, because one copy may be collected at the centre.

Exam Day Checklist

• Carry an original photo ID along with the printout; a phone copy is usually not accepted.
• If your photo is unclear, follow the notice's instructions to get a corrected card before exam day.
• Do not rely on a city slip alone; the admit card holds the exact centre address.
• Sign only where the card asks you to, and only in the invigilator's presence if instructed.
• Report any mismatch to the helpline shown on the card immediately and save a screenshot.
