Who Should Apply for NTA JEEMAIN Admissions for Session I January Exam

The notice asks for Engineering Degree. Students in the final year often ask if they can apply; the notice answers that, so look for the line on Sarkari Result awaited candidates.

For General Male the fee is ₹1000, and for EWS, OBC NCL Male it is ₹900. If you claim a fee concession, keep the category or disability certificate ready.

The form is filled online.

A good rule is to apply only when every eligibility line matches your papers. Close enough is not enough in an admission form.

NTAN NTA JEEMAIN Admissions for Session I January Exam Dates: How to Plan Your Time

The form opened on 24 Oct 2026 and closes on 22 Nov 2026.

There are 25 days left. A portal that is easy to use today may be very slow on the last day, which is why an early application is safer.

The exam date given is 20 Jan 2027. The time between the form and the exam is the part where students gain or lose the most.

The admit card is expected around 13 Jan 2027.

If a date changes, the change appears first on the official website. Check it once every few days till you finish the form.

What Happens After You Apply for NTA JEEMAIN Admissions for Session I January Exam

Here is the usual route after the form for a admission. Your notice can differ in small ways.

• Application and fee payment
• Entrance test, if the notice has one, or evaluation of the marks of the qualifying exam
• Merit or rank list and the call for counselling or interview
• Document verification with original certificates
• Payment of the admission fee and confirmation of the seat

Keep screenshots of your application, the fee receipt and every message you get. They are your proof if there is any confusion later.

Mistakes That Cost Students an Admission

• Entering the form on a copy site. The address in the notice is the only safe starting point.
• Uploading a blurred photo or a signature in the wrong size, which the system may accept but the verifying officer will reject
• Writing a name or date of birth in a different spelling from the certificates
• Choosing a category without a valid certificate in the format asked for
• Paying the fee twice after a slow payment page, without checking the first payment first
• Believing an agent who promises a seat for money. Government admissions never work that way

A calm email to the helpline with screenshots is better than posting on social media. Keep the reply for future reference.
