Name and Date on Photo Maker – Add Name and Date Below Your Photograph

RAJESH KUMAR12 / 03 / 2026

Some recruitment boards ask for a photograph that carries your name and the date on which the photo was taken, printed on a white strip at the bottom. A studio does this for a fee, but you can do it yourself in a minute with this tool.

Upload your photo, type your name, choose the date and the way it should be written, and the tool adds a clean white strip with black letters below the picture. You can also set the final width and a maximum file size in KB.

How to use the Name & Date on Photo Maker

  1. Choose your photo. A recent, clear photo with a plain light background is the best.
  2. Type your name exactly as it is written in your documents. Keep "Capital letters" selected if the form shows names in capitals.
  3. Choose the date. Use the date on which the photo was actually clicked, as the form requires, and pick the style such as 25-03-2026 or 25 Mar 2026.
  4. Set the picture width and the maximum KB if there is a limit, press the button, check the preview and download the JPG.

Why use the real date of the photo

The date written on the strip is meant to show that the photo is recent. Use the true date on which you clicked the picture and do not write a different date. A wrong date can lead to the cancellation of your candidature at the time of document checking.

How the strip is made

The name comes on the first line and the date on the second line, both in bold black letters, in the middle of a white strip. The letters shrink by themselves if the name is long, so that the whole name stays inside the picture. Your photo is not changed or stretched. It is only placed on top of the strip.

Points to check before you upload

If the form needs only a normal photo without any writing, use the Photo & Signature Resizer instead.

Frequently asked questions

Can I write only the date or only the name?

Yes. Leave one box empty and the strip will carry only the other line.

Will the photo get stretched?

No. The photo keeps its own shape and only its width is set to the number you type.

Which date style should I choose?

The style given in your notice. If nothing is said, the day-month-year style such as 25-03-2026 is the most common in India.

Is the photo uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything is done in your browser.

Can I reduce the file size?

Yes. Type the maximum size in KB and the tool will reduce the quality just enough to fit.
