Free Resume / CV Maker – Create a One-Page Resume and Save as PDF
A neat resume is needed more often than people think: for interviews, apprenticeships, private sector jobs, internships, and even when a department asks you to bring a biodata at the time of document verification. This resume maker lets you fill a simple form and gives a clean one-page A4 resume with a live preview.
Pick one of six ready formats, then fill your name, address, date of birth, parents' names, languages, hobbies, career objective (choose one of six lines or write your own), academic and professional qualifications in rows, extra qualifications and work experience. You can add a photo, choose a colour, and save the final page as a PDF. The details stay on your device and are not sent anywhere.
How to use the Resume / CV Maker
- Fill your name, the post you are applying for, mobile number, email and address.
- Write a two-line career objective, and then your education starting from the highest qualification.
- Add work experience if you have any, then your skills, languages and hobbies. A fresher can leave the experience rows empty.
- Look at the live preview below the form. When you are happy, press "Download / print as PDF" and choose "Save as PDF" in the print window.
What to write in each part
Career objective: two lines, simple and honest. For example: "To work sincerely in a government department and to grow with the organisation." Education: the qualification, the board or university, the year and the marks. Skills: the things you can really do, such as MS Word, Excel, typing speed, driving licence, or a trade. Personal details: date of birth, father's name, languages known and nationality.
Mistakes to avoid
- Spelling mistakes in your own name, or an email address that looks unserious.
- A long resume. One page is enough for a fresher.
- Skills that you cannot show if the interviewer asks a question on them.
- Different dates of birth or marks than in your certificates. Match every detail with the documents.
Resume for government jobs and for private jobs
For a government recruitment you usually fill an online form and no resume is uploaded, but a printed resume is useful at the document verification and the interview. For private jobs and internships, the resume is the first thing the employer sees, so keep it clean, add your phone and email on the top, and write the post you want.
Saving as PDF
Press the print button and, in the window that opens, select "Save as PDF" in the destination or printer box. On a phone, use the share or print option and choose PDF. Keep the paper size A4 and the margins set to the default.
Frequently asked questions
Is this resume maker free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on the number of resumes.
Is my information saved?

Can I add my photo?
Yes. Choose a photo in the form and it appears at the top right of the resume.
How many pages will the resume be?
It is made to fit one A4 page. If you write very long text it may go to a second page, so keep the points short.
